Role Description The NPD Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Khandala, responsible for leading new product development from concept to commercialization. This role involves coordinating R&D activities, overseeing formulation trials, and ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The NPD Manager will manage project timelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, procurement, and marketing, and prepare technical documentation and reports. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and technical research, optimizing recipes and processes, supervising pilot and plant trials, and supporting scale-up into full production. The role also includes monitoring product performance, identifying improvements, and mentoring team members involved in NPD activities.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D) experience, including concept development, formulation, and commercialization.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in Food Technology and Food Science, with a solid understanding of ingredients, processes, and quality and safety standards.
  • Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, cross-functional coordination, and reporting.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of the Food Industry, including regulatory requirements, market trends, and manufacturing practices.
  • Relevant academic background such as a degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment, preferably in product development or technical roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams on-site in Khandala.
