Technical Product Manager
Technical Product Manager
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Experience: 2–4 years
About the Company
2070 Health has built India’s first healthcare-focused Venture Studio, an innovation platform that creates transformative healthcare companies from the ground up. Unlike a traditional accelerator, the studio is deeply involved in idea generation, day-to-day operations, and strategic decisions across every venture it builds. The team works closely with founders and operators to turn important healthcare problems into enduring companies, combining venture creation with hands-on execution. Companies incubated in the last 24 months include multiple emerging healthcare ventures. This model gives team members the opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and healthcare, with direct influence on products being shaped from zero. The studio is building category-defining businesses and seeks people who are comfortable operating with ambiguity, moving quickly, and taking meaningful ownership early.
About the Role
As Technical Product Manager, you will join early and help shape a product from the ground up. You will own defined product areas across discovery, requirements, technical collaboration, delivery, launch, and post-launch measurement. Your leverage will come from turning ambiguous user and business problems into precise product decisions that engineering can execute and the business can learn from. You will work closely with engineers, read code when necessary, participate in technical design discussions, identify complexity before it becomes delivery risk, and use AI tools daily to improve the speed and quality of your work. This is a hands-on role for someone who prefers being close to the work, makes thoughtful trade-offs, prioritizes ruthlessly, and measures success through shipped outcomes rather than activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own specific product areas from requirements and specifications through sprint reviews, launch, and post-launch iteration, ensuring each release solves a meaningful user or business problem.
- Translate user needs and business objectives into precise, unambiguous product specifications that reduce interpretation gaps and enable engineering teams to execute with confidence.
- Partner deeply with engineering on technical design, API behavior, data flows, and implementation trade-offs, reading code when needed to surface complexity and delivery risk early.
- Define clear success metrics for every feature, establish measurement plans before launch, and use post-launch data to decide whether to iterate, scale, or stop.
- Prioritize ruthlessly across competing opportunities, protecting the highest-impact work while making explicit trade-offs and saying no to ideas that dilute product focus.
- Drive execution through planning, sprint reviews, launch coordination, and stakeholder alignment, maintaining momentum while keeping product quality and business outcomes visible.
- Use AI tools as a daily operating lever for research, synthesis, specification quality, analysis, and faster decision-making without compromising judgment or accountability.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- 2–4 years of product management experience, preferably in consumer technology environments where speed, iteration, experimentation, and data-informed decisions shaped product outcomes.
- Technical depth through a Computer Science or engineering education, prior engineering experience, or equivalent hands-on ability to engage meaningfully with APIs, code, systems, and technical design.
- Practical comfort with API documentation, SQL, data pipelines, product analytics, and AI tools, with the judgment to investigate problems independently and turn findings into product decisions.
- Strong product execution skills across discovery, requirements, prioritization, delivery, launch, and measurement, supported by a clear record of shipping features end-to-end.
- Structured problem-solving ability, with a habit of breaking ambiguous problems into clear components, defining assumptions, and building an executable path through uncertainty.
- Low-ego, high-output working style that stays close to users, engineers, data, and the details required to turn an early product into a reliable business.
Additional Plus
- Experience shipping consumer-facing features where rapid iteration, user behavior, experimentation, and measurable outcomes informed product decisions.
- Ability to explain product and technical trade-offs clearly, including what was deliberately not built and how those choices protected focus, quality, or speed.
- Curiosity about healthcare and confidence learning a complex new domain quickly; prior healthcare experience is not required.
What You'll Bring
- You will bring a technical and execution-oriented product mindset. You can move from an unclear problem to a crisp definition of the user, the business outcome, the constraints, and the smallest valuable solution.
- You are comfortable collaborating with engineers as a genuine thought partner, reading API documentation or code when necessary, and investigating data rather than waiting for someone else to provide an answer. You have shipped features end-to-end and can explain the trade-offs behind your decisions, including what you chose not to build.
- You use AI tools in practice to accelerate research, writing, analysis, and problem-solving, while retaining ownership of the judgment behind the output. You work with urgency without creating avoidable chaos, communicate clearly, and make progress visible.
- You are structured when problems are ambiguous, decisive when priorities compete, and low ego when evidence changes your mind. Most importantly, you are motivated by building from zero and willing to stay close to the work required to create products that matter.
Why Join Us
- Build from zero inside India’s first healthcare-focused venture studio, where product decisions directly shape new companies rather than incrementally improving an established roadmap.
- Work alongside engineering and venture teams with unusually broad exposure to idea generation, product formation, operating decisions, and the realities of building category-defining healthcare businesses.
- Use AI-native working methods in a high-ownership environment that values speed, clarity, practical judgment, and measurable outcomes over hierarchy or distance from execution.
What We Offer
- Early ownership of meaningful product areas with direct influence over requirements, technical decisions, launches, and the metrics that determine whether the work succeeds.
- Exposure to multiple healthcare ventures and the opportunity to learn how products and companies are created from the ground up within a hands-on venture studio.
- A close-to-the-work environment where strong execution, thoughtful prioritization, curiosity, and low-ego collaboration are valued over title or presentation.
