Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer

Location: Remote – India

Contract: 6-month initial contract, with possibility of extension

Experience: 6+ years of professional software development, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity

About the Role

NetworkPedia is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can own features end-to-end, from API design and frontend development through deployment and maintenance on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript skills, hands-on React experience, and expertise in building secure, scalable applications integrated with Large Language Models (LLMs). This role also involves contributing to architecture decisions, collaborating with AI and product teams, and mentoring mid-level developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and develop clean, maintainable frontend and backend code aligned with business needs.
  • Own features end-to-end, including API design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Create technical documentation, design documents, READMEs, and code comments.
  • Test, debug, and resolve functional issues and software defects.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers, frontend engineers, UX teams, and product managers.
  • Deploy and maintain applications on Azure, troubleshoot existing code, and verify system performance.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions for AI-powered products and mentor mid-level developers.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively across teams.

Required Technical Skills

  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Frontend: React is required; HTML, CSS, and XML.
  • Backend: Experience with one or more of FastAPI, Flask, Django, Node.js/Express, or .NET.
  • LLM Integration: Experience integrating LLM-powered applications using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar platforms.
  • APIs & Microservices: API and microservices design, REST APIs, and ideally gRPC.
  • Microsoft Azure: Experience with App Service, Azure Functions, Storage, and Key Vault.
  • Databases & Additional Languages: Working knowledge of SQL, Java or C#.
  • DevOps & Delivery: CI/CD principles, Git repositories and commands, and software deployment lifecycle practices.
  • Security: Strong understanding of API/web service security and data protection practices.
  • Methodologies: Understanding of Agile development best practices.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years in a senior or lead engineering capacity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with React Native or Angular.
  • Familiarity with Databricks.
  • Working knowledge of R Shiny, PHP, or C++.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or financial services.
