Associate Product Manager
About the Role
We're looking for an Associate Product Manager to drive Recruit's product strategy and roadmap. You'll own core ATS features, define how AI enhances recruiter workflows, and work with engineering, design, and applied AI teams to ship capabilities that improve hiring outcomes.
This is a hands-on role where you'll define product priorities, gather recruiter feedback, write clear requirements, and own delivery from discovery through launch. You'll balance foundational ATS improvements with emerging AI capabilities—shipping both with equal rigor.
This role demands strong product instincts, hands-on experience shipping features, and comfort working with AI/LLM capabilities as part of the product toolkit.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
- Own the Recruit product roadmap—prioritizing features based on recruiter needs and business impact
- Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria grounded in user research and feedback
- Partner with engineering and design to translate requirements into shipped features
- Identify where AI can enhance recruiter workflows; evaluate opportunities based on impact, feasibility, and business value
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback; measure outcomes post-launch and iterateAI Strategy & Opportunities
- Lead discovery of high-impact AI use cases by understanding recruiter pain points and workflow gaps
- Define the product vision for how AI and automation reshape recruiter workflows over time
- Establish a prioritization framework for AI opportunities—balancing recruiter impact, technical feasibility, and ROI
- Partner with applied AI/ML teams on feature design, evaluation, and validationCross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to understand recruiter problems and communicate roadmap
- Collaborate with applied AI/ML teams to scope capabilities, define success metrics, and validate AI features
- Conduct user research and workflow analysis to identify high-impact opportunities
- Present roadmap priorities and trade-offs to stakeholders; defend decisions with dataExecution & Accountability
- Define KPIs and success metrics for every initiative—adoption, feature usage, recruiter satisfaction, business impact
- Drive sprint planning and backlog grooming with engineering
- Ensure on-time, quality delivery of roadmap commitments
- Own end-to-end delivery and learning from launchesMust Have
- 2–4 years of Product Management experience, with hands-on involvement in shipping features
- Experience using LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to augment PM workflows—drafting, research, analysis, synthesis
- Proven ability to ship features through cross-functional collaboration with engineering and design
- Strong communication and collaboration skills—comfortable gathering customer feedback, writing clear requirements, and presenting to stakeholders
- Comfortable with product tools—Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar
- Solid Agile/Scrum experience working in cross-functional teams
- Understanding of AI product realities—accuracy concerns, user trust, evaluation, grounding sources
- Ability to learn quickly and dive deep into new domainsGood to Have

- Familiarity with competitive positioning or emerging tech categories
- Exposure to responsible AI practices or bias detection

- Ship 3–4 high-quality features or initiatives with clear business value—mix of core ATS and AI capabilities
- Develop a prioritized roadmap with stakeholder alignment and leadership buy-in
- Own end-to-end delivery—from discovery through launch, measurement, and learning
- Build strong relationships with engineering, design, applied AI teams, sales, and customer-facing teams
- Establish a repeatable process for product discovery, requirements, and validation
- Define and track metrics that demonstrate product impact on recruiters and business
- Demonstrate product judgment—make trade-offs confidently and defend decisions with data
