The execution engine for Geidea's POS and SoftPOS product line. It is hands-on, with direct exposure to acquirers, terminal vendors, card schemes and enterprise merchants across the UAE and GCC.
Responsibilities:
- Integration & partnership delivery: Run qualified integration, certification and customization projects from kickoff to go-live, owning the plan, partner meetings, minutes and follow-ups, and tracking milestones, dependencies and risks with engineering and delivery teams.
- Documentation: Draft partner SOWs, integration guides and SOPs, and keep Confluence pages current.
- Release quality: Own release UAT against the PRD, with test scenarios covering purchase, refund, void, pre-auth and edge cases; log defects and UI/UX issues and give go/no-go input.
- Production issues: Triage and track incidents with clear owners, ETAs and root-cause notes, and raise recurring issues early.
- Product performance: Track post-launch KPIs (approval rates, decline-code trends, transaction volumes, feature adoption), flag negative patterns and maintain a regular performance report.
- Enablement: Prepare release notes, sales and support training material and FAQs for each release.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years in payments or fintech in product, project, QA/UAT, implementation or operations roles, at an acquirer, PSP, terminal vendor, switch or payments testing team.
- Basic understanding of card payment flows (authorization, clearing, settlement), EMV and ISO 8583.
- Strong written and spoken English: able to turn a messy call into clean minutes, a tracker and a same-day follow-up.
- Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence (or similar), PowerPoint and Excel.
- Comfortable working with UAE-based partners and teams during UAE business hours.Nice to have:
- Hands-on payments testing: EMV L3 certification, test tools (e.g. FIME BTT), or UAT and test cases for payment applications.
- Familiarity with Android POS or SoftPOS terminals and terminal management systems.
- Basic SQL or BI skills (Power BI, Tableau) for performance tracking.
- Prior experience with GCC payments.
