ROLE OVERVIEW

Job Overview

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our FinEye team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that power financial data analysis and intelligence products. The candidate will work closely with engineering, product, data, and business teams to build reliable solutions for large-scale financial data processing, fraud detection, and risk assessment.

The role requires strong Python development skills, hands-on experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI, solid backend engineering fundamentals, experience with APIs and databases, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and growing technology environment.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Python.

Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend application development.

Experience with Flask / FastAPI / Django or similar Python backend frameworks.

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, and algorithms.

Experience with MongoDB and/or relational databases.

Knowledge of database query optimization, indexing, and data modeling.

Experience with concurrency, multiprocessing, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.

Understanding of application performance optimization and scalable system design.

Experience with Git and version control.

Familiarity with Linux and cloud environments such as AWS.

Understanding of API authentication, validation, error handling, logging, and monitoring.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

1+ years of relevant experience in Python backend development.

Relevant experience in backend/API development and data-processing applications.

Strong knowledge of Python, backend frameworks, databases, REST APIs, and software development practices.

Good understanding of performance optimization and scalable application development.

Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities effectively.

Preferred / Good to Have

Experience in FinTech / BFSI / Technology / Digital Commerce or a related industry.

Experience working in a growing technology organization.
