Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role as a Windchill Data Migration Developer located in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with potential collaboration with teams in Chennai and Pune. The role involves designing and implementing data migration solutions for Windchill PLM environments, including planning, extracting, transforming, and loading data from legacy systems. The developer will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements, perform data modeling, and ensure data quality and integrity throughout the migration process. Daily responsibilities include developing scripts and ETL workflows, optimizing data pipelines, troubleshooting migration issues, documenting technical solutions, and supporting validation and testing activities. The position also requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve migration processes, adhere to security and compliance standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong data engineering skills, including experience building and maintaining data pipelines and migration workflows.
• Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing concepts for structuring, organizing, and storing enterprise data.
• Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools or frameworks and data analytics techniques for validating and optimizing migrated data.
• Experience with Windchill PLM or similar product lifecycle management systems, including data structures and configurations.
• Solid programming skills (such as Java, Python, or similar languages) and familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets, diagnose issues, and propose practical solutions within migration projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and on-site environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in data or PLM systems are an advantage.

Windchill Data Migration Developer

Overall experience-5-8 Years

Location-Bangalore/Chennai/Pune

Qualification-BE/B.Tech

Mandatory Skills- Data Windchill Migration, ETL, Windchill API’s, E2E data migration project experience.

Requirements:

5-8yrs of Data Windchill Migration experience.

Good understanding of ETL process and should be conversant with transformation logic, extraction of data from windchill and loading the data to windchill.

Should have written scripts or develop the scripts for extracting the data using windchill API's and loading the data into PLM and CAD.

Any data migration tool development exp would be an added advantage.

Must have worked on at least 2 E2E data migration projects in the past.

Must have good communication Skills.
