Role Overview

We are looking for a Power BI Developer with strong SQL skills to design and deliver interactive dashboards and reports. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, so excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements
  • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction and transformation
  • Build efficient data models using DAX and Power Query (M)
  • Connect Power BI to multiple data sources and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Optimize report performance and query execution
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective visualizations
  • Manage workspaces, scheduled refreshes, and row-level security in Power BI Service
  • Provide regular updates and clear documentation to the project team and clientRequired Skills
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development
  • Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization)
  • Proficiency in DAX and Power Query
  • Good understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, fact and dimension tables)
  • Experience with Power BI Service, gateways, and security configuration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsGood to Have
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools
  • Experience with Azure SQL, Synapse, or similar platforms
  • Microsoft Power BI certification (PL-300)Other Requirements
  • Must be willing to work from the Chennai office
  • Ability to work in the 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM shift
  • Immediate or short-notice availability preferred
