We are currently at the MVP stage and building the engineering foundation for our next phase of growth. We are looking for a strong engineer who wants to join early, take ownership and grow with the company.

About the RoleThis is a full-time hybrid role based in Chennai for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer.

You will work across frontend and backend development, contribute to product development, build APIs and services, improve application performance and reliability, and participate in technical and architectural decisions.

This is an early engineering role with significant ownership. You will work directly with the founding team and have the opportunity to influence how the product and engineering practices evolve as NANDIX scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications across frontend and backend.
• Build clean, maintainable and production-ready software.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Build responsive and reliable user interfaces.
• Work with databases and data-driven application workflows.
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability and production issues.
• Write tests and contribute to engineering quality.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Contribute to system design and architecture decisions.
• Work with modern AI/LLM technologies where relevant to product development.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and product team to turn requirements into working products.Required Skills
• Strong hands-on knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript.
• Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks.
• Backend development experience with Node.js or equivalent technologies.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud-based application development.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.
• Understanding of application security, authentication and reliable production systems.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and testable code.AI / Modern DevelopmentExperience with modern AI/LLM technologies such as Claude, OpenAI GPT, Gemini or similar platforms is a strong advantage.

What We’re Looking For3 yrs + of relevant experience is preferred.

We are particularly interested in engineers with strong hands-on development experience, good engineering fundamentals and the ability to take ownership of production software.

Strong practical skills and demonstrated project experience will be considered alongside professional experience.
