Role Description The Oracle Database Administrator Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle databases, including performance tuning, capacity planning, backup and recovery, and security management. The professional will design and develop database objects (tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, triggers) to support application requirements and ensure data integrity. Daily activities include monitoring database health, troubleshooting issues, optimizing queries, and collaborating with application development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver stable and scalable solutions. The role also involves documenting configurations and procedures, participating in deployment activities, and supporting continuous improvement of database standards and practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
• Candidates should possess skills in PL/SQL development, schema design, query optimization, and creation of stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Candidates should possess skills in database security, user and role management, data integrity, and compliance with organizational policies.
• Candidates should possess skills in monitoring tools, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis in production environments.
• Candidates should possess skills in collaborating with developers, system administrators, and project stakeholders, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are preferred.
• Experience with high-availability configurations, data replication, and cloud or virtualized environments will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with IT service management practices, documentation standards, and ISO/CMMI-based environments is beneficial.
