Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Streamlit Developer / Junior Data Scientist to join the Consumer Business Intelligence team of a global consumer health organization.

The role will focus on developing and maintaining interactive, data-driven Streamlit applications used by commercial and brand teams to monitor product performance across e-commerce marketplaces.

The Data Science team will own data pipelines and analytical models, while you will be responsible for the application and frontend layer—including dashboards, tables, filters, charts, metric cards, and interactive calculators powered by Snowflake data.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Python, Streamlit, SQL, Snowflake, and Pandas, along with the ability to translate technical data and model outputs into intuitive applications for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain multi-page Streamlit applications for internal business users.
• Build interactive dashboards featuring data tables, filters, charts, metric cards, pivot views, and custom timeframe selectors.
• Develop interactive inputs and calculators that trigger real-time or on-demand data/model recalculations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries in Snowflake to support application views and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and tune slow-running queries and improve overall application performance.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to transform analytical and model outputs into user-friendly business applications.
• Deploy, migrate, and maintain Streamlit applications across different environments.
• Debug production issues involving serialization, caching, session state, large datasets, and application performance.
• Work with large data result sets while ensuring applications remain responsive and reliable.
• Follow Git-based development and code review practices.
• Understand written business requirements and independently translate them into functional application features.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders and challenge unclear or technically unsuitable requirements when necessary.Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5+ years of overall professional experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience developing Python-based data applications.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Streamlit and development of production-quality Streamlit applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the Python data ecosystem.
• Excellent SQL skills, including:
• Complex Joins
• Window Functions
• Aggregations
• Query Optimization
• Working with Large Datasets
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong experience with Pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
• Understanding of Streamlit concepts such as:
• Session State
• Caching
• Multi-page Applications
• Layout Management
• Performance Optimization
• Experience with Git, branching, pull requests, and code review practices.
• Ability to independently work from written requirements and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Nice to Have

Preferred Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a hands-on Python developer who enjoys building data-driven applications and dashboards. You should be comfortable working directly with business users, translating complex data into intuitive interfaces, and troubleshooting applications in production.

Candidates should also be able to explain the architecture and design decisions behind Streamlit applications they have built, particularly around session state, caching, application layout, data handling, and performance optimization.
