Aumraa is building a modern faith-tech platform rooted in Sanatan traditions — bringing together devotional experiences, spiritual guidance, temples, puja and seva services, sacred commerce, content and community within one connected ecosystem.

Our technology platform spans a Flutter-based customer mobile app, React-based web and admin interfaces, and Java/Spring Boot backend that powers business logic, APIs, authentication, payments, notifications and integrations.

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who can contribute across our React frontend and Java/Spring Boot backend and grow into broader ownership as Aumraa’s product and engineering capabilities expand.

What You’ll Do

Full Stack Development

  • Develop, test and maintain full-stack features using React 19, TypeScript, Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.2.5
  • Work across frontend interfaces, backend services, REST APIs and database workflows
  • Build features for areas such as bookings, customers, temples, partners, payments, content and operational workflows
  • Take assigned features from requirement understanding through development, testing and release
  • Build reusable frontend components and modular backend services

React Frontend Development

  • Develop responsive web interfaces using React 19 and TypeScript
  • Work with Redux Toolkit for state management
  • Build interfaces using Tailwind CSS within the existing Vite setup
  • Develop dashboards, forms, tables, filters, search, navigation and admin workflows
  • Implement loading, validation, success, error and empty states
  • Integrate frontend components with backend APIs
  • • Work with ApexCharts and FullCalendar where required
  • Support realtime functionality using Socket.IO / WebSocket-based interactions
  • Ensure responsive behaviour and cross-browser compatibility

Java / Spring Boot Backend Development

  • Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.2.5
  • Implement business logic, validations and service-layer functionality
  • Work with Spring Security for authentication and authorization
  • Support JWT-based sessions and role-based access control
  • Work with MySQL for application data and relational workflows
  • Use JPA/Hibernate or equivalent persistence approaches
  • Support database schema changes using Flyway migrations
  • Write efficient queries and understand joins, indexes and transactions
  • Debug backend and API-related issues

API & Integration Development

  • Design and integrate REST APIs between frontend, backend and mobile clients
  • Define clear request/response structures, validation and error-handling flows
  • Work with API documentation such as Swagger / OpenAPI
  • Support integrations with:
  • Razorpay and PhonePe
  • AWS S3
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging
  • SMTP email
  • WhatsApp Business API
  • Debug third-party integration issues and API failures

Authentication & Security

  • Implement secure authentication and authorization flows
  • Work with Spring Security, JWT and permission-based access
  • Handle frontend authentication states and secure API interactions
  • Follow secure coding practices around user data and sensitive workflows

Testing & Code Quality

  • Write clean, modular and maintainable Java and TypeScript code
  • Write and maintain appropriate unit and integration tests for critical functionality
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate technical feedback
  • Debug issues across frontend, backend, APIs and database layers
  • Test features before release and help resolve production issues
  • Follow established coding standards and development practices

Performance & Reliability

  • Improve frontend rendering and application performance
  • Optimise backend services and database queries where required
  • Identify bottlenecks in APIs and application workflows
  • Support performance troubleshooting using logs, browser tools and backend diagnostics
  • Help improve application stability and reliability

Development & Deployment Practices

  • Use Git / GitHub or equivalent version-control workflows
  • Work with branches, pull requests and code reviews
  • Work with Docker-based environments where required
  • Follow existing CI/CD and deployment processes
  • Understand environment-specific configuration across development and production
  • Maintain basic technical documentation for APIs, integrations and important modules

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Senior Full Stack Developer, designers, product teams and business stakeholders
  • Break requirements into practical development tasks
  • Communicate technical blockers and dependencies early
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute implementation ideas
  • Continuously improve your understanding of Aumraa’s architecture and engineering practices

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with React.js / React and TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs
  • Understanding of Spring Security
  • Experience with authentication and authorization concepts
  • Experience working with MySQL
  • Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
  • Experience with React Hooks and component-based architecture
  • Familiarity with Redux / Redux Toolkit or similar state management
  • Good debugging and problem-solving ability
  • Experience with Git-based development workflows
