Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will work full time on-site in Australia, designing and implementing AI solutions to support and enhance Esse India’s immigration and visa consulting services. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and training machine learning models, building and optimizing neural network architectures, and applying pattern recognition techniques to improve decision-making and process automation. The role involves working with natural language processing (NLP) to analyze and interpret text-based data, such as client documents and regulatory information, and integrating AI components into existing software systems. The AI Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain documentation, ensure data quality and model performance, and contribute to continuous improvement of AI-driven products and internal tools.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, with experience building scalable, maintainable applications.
• Applied expertise in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for real-world problem solving and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text classification, entity extraction, and language understanding.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML (such as Python), and familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Understanding of machine learning principles, data preprocessing, model evaluation, and deployment in production environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product, operations, and consulting teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and manage multiple projects.
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, and data security best practices is an advantage; prior exposure to immigration, legal-tech, or consulting domains is a plus.
