IT INFRASTRUCTURE & FULL STACK ENGINEER-Job description

Role Summary

The IT Infrastructure & Full Stack Engineer will manage and secure the organisation's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking and cloud. The role will also design, develop and maintain healthcare web applications using Core Java, React.js and MySQL. The role uses AI-based coding tools and automation to improve efficiency, and keeps clinical and business systems running reliably while protecting patient data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Server & Infrastructure Management: Install, configure and monitor Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory and file servers; ensure system uptime and performance.
  • Networking: Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, VLANs and VPN; resolve connectivity issues.
  • Storage & Backup: Administer NAS/SAN and RAID; implement and test backup and disaster-recovery plans as per RPO/RTO.
  • Cloud & Identity: Manage Microsoft 365, Azure/AWS and Entra ID, including user access, SSO and MFA.
  • • Full Stack Development: Build responsive front-end screens using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.js, and develop back-end logic and REST APIs using Core Java.
  • Database Management: Design MySQL databases, write optimised SQL queries and maintain data integrity.
  • Healthcare Applications: Develop, support and integrate modules such as appointment booking, patient registration, billing, HIS and ERP; coordinate with vendors when required.
  • AI & Automation: Use AI-assisted coding tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) and Python/PowerShell scripts to automate IT tasks, monitoring and reporting.
  • Cyber Security: Implement endpoint protection, patch management, access controls and secure coding practices; protect patient data confidentiality.
  • Support & Documentation: Provide technical support to clinical and non-clinical staff; maintain IT asset records, SOPs, network diagrams and technical documentation. Required Skills
  • Infrastructure: Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V)
  • Networking: TCP/IP, OSI model, VLAN, routing, firewall, VPN
  • Storage & Cloud: NAS, SAN, RAID, backup tools, Microsoft 365, Azure/AWS, Entra ID
  • Programming & Frameworks: Core Java, SQL (Spring Boot is an added advantage)
  • Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, REST APIs
  • Databases: MySQL
  • AI & Automation: Python, PowerShell, AI-assisted coding tools, basic understanding of LLMs
  • Tools & IDEs: VS Code, Eclipse, Git
  • Security: MFA, endpoint security, patch management, secure coding, incident response Qualifications
  • B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT or Electronics; or BCA/MCA/B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science)
  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure along with Java/React application development
  • Certifications preferred: CCNA, Microsoft Azure (AZ-900/AZ-104), AWS, Java or Full Stack certification
  • Experience in a healthcare or hospital IT environment is an added advantage Key Competencies

  • Ability to handle critical issues calmly and prioritise patient-facing systems
  • Team collaboration and clear communication with management, staff and vendors
  • Adaptability, ownership and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Availability for emergency support when required
