About the Opportunity

We are hiring for a growing privacy compliance and technology solutions company that helps organisations comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act through technology-driven solutions, privacy consulting and compliance frameworks.

We are looking for a Technology & Privacy Solutions Consultant who can work at the intersection of Pre-Sales, Business Consulting, Privacy Compliance and Technology.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of technology, excellent communication skills and the ability to understand client requirements and present suitable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

• Participate in client meetings, sales calls, presentations and requirement-gathering sessions.

• Understand business needs and recommend suitable technology solutions.

• Conduct product demonstrations for business, IT, information security, legal and compliance teams.

• Explain technical concepts in simple, business-friendly language.

• Coordinate with internal technology teams to address client queries.

2. Proposals & Sales Support

• Assist in preparing proposals, RFP/RFI responses and solution documents.

• Prepare process diagrams, solution presentations and product documentation.

• Support the improvement of sales presentations and product demonstrations.

3. Proof of Concept (POC)

• Define POC scope, objectives and success criteria.

• Coordinate platform configuration and conduct demonstrations.

• Work with technology teams to resolve issues and incorporate client feedback.

4. Data Mapping & Privacy Compliance

• Conduct personal data mapping and data-flow analysis for clients.

• Understand how personal data is collected, stored, processed and shared.

• Document data flows across applications, departments and third-party vendors.

• Identify potential privacy compliance gaps and risks.

• Prepare data-flow diagrams, process maps and data inventories.

• Support privacy assessments covering consent, data retention, data sharing and individual data rights.

5. Technology & Product Understanding

• Develop an understanding of SaaS platforms, application architecture and workflows.

• Understand APIs, integrations, databases, cloud technology and access controls.

• Explain security features, dashboards, reporting and audit capabilities.

• Translate technical features into business benefits.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: 2+ years in one or more of the following areas:

• Pre-Sales / Solution Engineering

• Business Analysis

• Technology / Solutions Consulting

• Product Consulting

• SaaS / Enterprise Software

• GRC / Privacy / Cybersecurity Technology

Technical Skills

• Understanding of software applications and SaaS platforms.

• Knowledge of SDLC, APIs and system integrations.

• Basic understanding of databases, cloud technology and information security.

• Familiarity with application architecture, data flows, UAT and testing.

• Process mapping, documentation, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Strong presentation and product demonstration skills.

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple language.

• Confidence in interacting with business and technology stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and relationship-building skills.

Educational Qualification

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred. An MBA or relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
