Job title: Shopify Developer Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Shopify Developer with 1+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify development to join our team. As an eCommerce-focused company working with international clients and projects, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing Shopify-based eCommerce stores. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Shopify development and a good foundation in web technologies.

Job location: 1. Surat Office - 204, Center Point Building, Civil Cross Road, Sagrampura, Ring Road, Surat 395002, Gujarat - IN.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify eCommerce websites and online stores.

● Customize Shopify themes, templates, sections, and storefront functionality.

● Work with Shopify Liquid to create and modify dynamic storefront components.

● Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.

● Integrate third-party applications, APIs, payment gateways, shipping solutions, and other eCommerce tools.

● Customize Shopify apps and functionalities according to project requirements.

● Troubleshoot technical issues and identify appropriate solutions.

● Optimize Shopify stores for performance, responsiveness, usability, and SEO.

● Work on product catalogs, collections, navigation, checkout-related requirements, and other eCommerce functionalities.

● Collaborate with designers, developers, project managers, and other team members to deliver projects successfully.

● Understand client requirements and implement solutions according to project specifications.

● Ensure websites are cross-browser compatible, mobile responsive, and optimized for different devices.

● Maintain clean, scalable, and well-structured code.

● Stay updated with Shopify features, development practices, and emerging eCommerce technologies.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

● Relevant professional experience and strong technical skills will also be considered.

● Basic knowledge of Git/version control.

● Understanding of website performance optimization and basic SEO practices.

● Ability to troubleshoot and resolve development-related issues.

● Understanding of eCommerce concepts such as products, variants, collections, discounts, orders, customers, payments, and shipping.

Desired Skills:

● Experience with Shopify Plus.

● Knowledge of Shopify app development or custom app integration.

● Experience with React.js, Node.js, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.

● Knowledge of other eCommerce platforms such as nopCommerce, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar platforms will be an advantage.

● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

● Good communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

● Ability to manage tasks and meet project deadlines.

● Professional approach when working with international clients and internal teams.
