Job Description
We are seeking a GIS Developer with 5–7 years of experience in ESRI technologies to support and develop enterprise geospatial applications and GIS platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise Administration, ESRI Web Development, GIS Application Development, and Spatial Database Management. The role requires working in a 24x7 support model while contributing to ongoing development and enhancement initiatives.
Develop, enhance, support, and maintain enterprise GIS applications using ESRI technologies.
Configure, administer, and support ArcGIS Enterprise environments including ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Data Store.
Design and develop web GIS applications using ArcGIS JavaScript API, Experience Builder, Web AppBuilder, and related ESRI technologies.
Support production GIS systems, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
Develop and maintain GIS services, APIs, maps, dashboards, and geospatial workflows.
Integrate geospatial data and services with enterprise applications and third-party systems.
Manage and optimise GIS databases including PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle, SQL Server, and Enterprise Geodatabases.
Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, patching, upgrades, and release deployments.
Participate in on-call support and 24x7 production support activities.
Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of GIS infrastructure and applications.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain GIS web applications using ESRI development frameworks.
Administer ArcGIS Enterprise components including ArcGIS Server, Portal, Web Adaptors, and Data Store.
Publish, configure, and support map services, feature services, and geoprocessing services.
Monitor GIS environments and proactively address performance and availability issues.
Manage GIS application releases, deployments, and environment configurations.
Develop automation scripts and GIS integration solutions.
Troubleshoot application, service, database, and infrastructure-related issues.
Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and implement enhancements.
Manage and optimise Enterprise Geodatabases and spatial databases.
Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, support guides, and knowledge articles.
Participate in code reviews, testing, production deployments, and support handovers.
Support incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
