Backend Development

• Design & Develop Microservices - Build robust RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices using Java 25 and Dropwizard framework, ensuring high performance and scalability; leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate development while maintaining architectural integrity
• Event Stream Processing - Design and implement message-driven architectures using AWS SQS, SNS, and Apache Kafka for real-time data processing; utilize AI tools for boilerplate code generation and optimization
• Database Management - Define data models and schemas for MongoDB and AWS DocumentDB, ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and appropriate indexing strategies; use AI-assisted schema design for complex data structures
• Cloud Infrastructure - Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS, ensuring reliability and auto-scaling capabilities; optimize infrastructure code using AI-driven suggestions
• AI/Generative Code Integration - Effectively utilize AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) for rapid prototyping and development acceleration while applying critical human judgment to code quality and security
• GenAI Service Integration - Integrate generative AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, AWS Bedrock) into backend services; implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures for intelligent features
• LLM Implementation - Build features leveraging foundation models; implement prompt engineering strategies for optimal model outputs; handle AI response validation and hallucination mitigation

Frontend Development

• Build Dynamic Web Applications - Develop responsive, user-friendly web applications using modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js); utilize AI tools for component generation and UI optimization
• UI/UX Implementation - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into interactive, performant frontend code; leverage AI for rapid UI prototyping and accessibility compliance
• State Management - Implement robust state management solutions and ensure seamless data flow between frontend and backend; use AI-assisted patterns for complex state logic
• Performance Optimization - Optimize frontend performance using AI-driven profiling suggestions, implement lazy loading, caching strategies, and ensure fast page load times
• AI-Enhanced User Experiences - Implement features powered by generative AI; create intuitive interfaces for AI-driven functionalities; design user flows for AI-assisted workflows
• Vibe Coding Methodology - Adopt rapid development cycles using AI tools while maintaining code quality; balance speed with sustainable, maintainable code practices

Full Stack Integration

• End-to-End Feature Development - Own complete features from API design through frontend implementation and deployment; accelerate delivery using modern AI-augmented workflows
• API Integration - Integrate frontend applications with backend microservices and AI services, ensuring secure and efficient communication; implement proper error handling for AI API failures
• CI/CD Pipeline Ownership - Build, manage, and own deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD for both backend and frontend, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments; integrate AI-assisted code quality checks
• Code Quality & Documentation - Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation; conduct rigorous code reviews across the stack; ensure AI-generated code meets quality standards; maintain best practices for AI implementation
• Performance Monitoring - Monitor, profile, and optimize application performance across all layers; troubleshoot production issues; track AI service performance and costs
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally - Work with Product Managers, DevOps teams, AI/ML specialists, and other engineers to deliver game streaming features with intelligent capabilities
• On-Call Responsibilities - Participate in scheduled on-call rotation and respond to production emergencies, including AI service outages and integration failures
• Technical Leadership - Mentor junior engineers in effective use of AI tools and vibe coding practices; contribute to architectural decisions for AI-integrated platforms; establish guidelines for responsible AI usage
• AI Security & Governance - Implement security best practices for AI integrations; ensure compliance with data privacy regulations when using AI services; validate AI outputs for safety and accuracy
