About Your Team
The Cient Data and Platform Delivery team is responsible for establishing a single, trusted client, case and activity data model for the Client Servicing Platform, with clear data ownership, governance and standards to enable consistent, accurate and auditable servicing globally, enable data‑driven servicing and distribution insights. About Your Role
Reporting to the Head of Client Servicing Platforms, your mandate is to establish and lead a single, trusted client data and Delivery capability that underpins consistent, high‑quality servicing across Fidelity.
You will be responsible for defining and delivering a global data model for client, case, and activity data across the Client Servicing Platform, ensuring clear data ownership, governance, and standards are in place to support consistent, accurate, and auditable servicing outcomes across all markets and channels.
The role is accountable for embedding strong data governance, controls, and data management practices, ensuring that client data is reliable, scalable, and fit for purpose across servicing, reporting, and operational workflows. You will work closely with Distribution, Asset Management, Client Servicing, Record Keeping, and Technology teams to ensure alignment of data structures and practices across the organisation.
A key focus of the role is to enable data‑driven servicing and distribution insights, ensuring that high-quality, accessible data supports better decision-making, improved client outcomes, and enhanced operational performance.
You will act as the product owner for client data platforms and relevant applications, defining the roadmap, prioritisation, and evolution of data capabilities in line with business needs. This includes driving improvements in data quality, lineage, and accessibility, as well as enabling integration across platforms.
You will also lead the continuous evolution of the data operating model, driving standardisation, simplification, and scalability, while ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and enterprise data strategy.
About You
- Platform Ownership & Evolution - Own end‑to‑end Client Services Platform (CSP) engineering and data squads—driving modernisation (cloud, simplification, decommissioning) while protecting live service stability and resilience.
- Client Data Domain Accountability - Accountable for client data as governed, reusable products in the FIL Data Lake—ensuring lifecycle management, quality, traceability, and availability across servicing, digital, and reporting use cases.
- Product Ownership & Platform Integrity - Act as platform product owner—ensuring safe change, architectural coherence, and operational integrity across servicing, data, information delivery, and production services.
- Insight Enablement for Distribution - Enable data‑driven client servicing—supporting segmentation, client health metrics, service transparency, and actionable insights to improve client outcomes and business decisions.
- AI, Data & Transformation Leadership - Partner with central AI and data teams to embed intelligent automation, strengthen governance and controls, and drive standardisation, scalability, and continuous improvement across the platform
- Strong domain expertise in the Distribution business, with a deep understanding of client lifecycle, servicing models, reporting, and data needs to effectively partner with Distribution and relationship teams.
- Deep expertise in data management and governance: Strong understanding of client, operational, and activity data models, including data ownership, governance, lineage, and quality management in a global financial services environment
- Proven experience in building and scaling data capabilities: Demonstrated ability to define and implement enterprise-grade data models and frameworks that support consistent, accurate, and auditable outcomes
- Strong product ownership and platform mindset: Experience acting as a product owner for data platforms and applications, with the ability to define roadmaps, prioritise demand, and drive continuous evolution of data capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills: Ability to partner effectively with value streams leads across Client Servicing, , Asset Management, Record Keeping, Data, and Distribution business teams to align data strategy and delivery
- Data-driven and insight-oriented: Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights that enable improved servicing performance, better client outcomes, and enhanced decision-making
- Strong governance, risk, and control awareness: Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, data controls, and audit expectations, ensuring data is managed safely, compliantly, and consistently
- Transformation and continuous improvement experience: Proven track record of driving standardisation, simplification, and automation of data processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and resilience
- Strategic and structured thinker: Ability to design scalable data solutions that align with enterprise strategy while solving practical business challenges
- Strong leadership capability: Experience building and leading high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Technical Skills
- Cloud & Data Platform Architecture - Strong understanding of cloud‑native data platforms (e.g., AWS/Azure), including scalable data storage, processing, and integration patterns.
- Data Engineering & Pipelines- Knowledge of modern data engineering practices (batch and streaming pipelines, data transformation, and data product design) to support reliable, reusable data assets.
- Data Governance & Control Tooling - Experience with data governance frameworks and tooling, including metadata management, lineage, data quality, and privacy controls aligned to regulatory expectations.
- Enterprise Data Modelling & Architecture - Understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and how they enable consistent, governed data usage across platforms.
- Integration & API / Event‑Driven Design- Familiarity with API‑led and event‑driven architectures to enable scalable, loosely coupled platform integration.
- AI & Automation Enablement - Working knowledge of how AI/ML and intelligent automation integrate with data platforms, including governance, controls, and operational use cases.
- Platform Engineering & DevOps Practices - Awareness of platform engineering principles, environment management, and release disciplines to support safe, continuous delivery.
- Data Security, Risk & Resilience - Strong understanding of data security (access control, encryption), resilience patterns, and auditability in regulated financial services environments
