- Core Java: Strong in Collections, Multithreading/Concurrency, Garbage Collection, JVM fundamentals and performance.
- Spring / Spring Boot: Strong hands-on experience building backend services and REST APIs.
- Redis: Practical experience with caching and performance-oriented use cases.
- NoSQL: Strong hands-on experience with Aerospike or equivalent NoSQL databases — data modeling, access patterns, performance and troubleshooting; not just conceptual knowledge.
- LLD & Design: Ability to create/review LLDs and apply SOLID, abstraction, separation of concerns, design patterns and clean-code principles.
- AI-Assisted Development: Experience with Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar tools; able to understand, explain, review, validate, modify and improve AI-generated code.
- DevOps: Good hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, Docker, Kubernetes and container registries.
- Product Engineering: Experience working in product development organizations, preferably on scalable, high-availability or distributed systems.
