Job Overview:

We are looking for a Back-End Developer to join our team. Who will manage the server-side logic, database interactions, and overall application performance to ensure seamless functionality. Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications to meet our company’s needs.

Location: Chennai (Work from office)

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire application development lifecycle, with a strong focus on backend development and coding.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing backend applications using Python and Django REST Framework.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications and third-party services.
• Work with payment gateways and third-party payment services, including setup, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Integrate AI capabilities into backend applications using frameworks.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Upgrade and enhance existing applications using modern technologies and development practices.
• Collaborate with Front-End Developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Build reusable components, APIs, and libraries for future use.
• Gather and address technical and functional requirements to improve system functionality.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify and implement new features.
• Provide technical support and knowledge sharing to internal teams when required.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, backend development practices, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of the complete application development lifecycle.
• Minimum 1.5 years of hands-on experience with Python and Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend application development.
• Good knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Redis and Celery for caching, message brokering, and background task processing.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming and its application in backend systems.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Working knowledge of AWS and deploying or managing backend applications in a cloud environment.
• Experience with payment gateway integration and setup.
• Familiarity with LangChain and LangGraph and their application in building AI-powered backend workflows.
• Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, and security.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage time efficiently.
• Good communication skills and the ability to understand technical and business requirements.
