About Ghintell India Research Pvt Ltd.

Ghintell is the AI-first healthcare intelligence, research and analytics company within Zealth Group. We work alongside Zealth, our market access and health economics consultancy, and ijovi, our strategy and creative agency. Together, we help pharmaceutical and biotech companies demonstrate and communicate the value of their products in markets worldwide. Our clients include some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Our Bengaluru center of excellence combines medical expertise, analytics and research, and now health economics. Our team brings strong pharmaceutical industry backgrounds, and quality, pragmatism, speed and cost-effectiveness guide how we deliver.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an ambitious, performance driven leader and health economist to help us build the Health Economics center of excellence in Bengaluru. This is a chance to build a function from the ground up, with genuine ownership, international exposure and the chance to grow with the capability you create.

You will report directly to the Senior Director in Copenhagen, with a dotted line to the Site Head in Bengaluru. You will work closely with Zealth’s market access experts in Copenhagen and with Ghintell’s medical and analytics teams in Bengaluru to support global pharmaceutical clients.

You will not start alone. We are recruiting the first two members of your team, a Senior Health Economist and a Health Economist, at the same time as this role, and they will join at approximately the same time as you. Going forward, you will take an active part in recruiting as the team grows.

You will stay hands-on with economic modeling and client projects, and you will help define how AI can be applied to modern health economics. We are looking for someone who will together with the team, just as much as leading the team – In short a player coach.

KEY FOCUS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will establish and lead the health economics capability at Ghintell Bengaluru, working closely with Zealth on projects for global and regional headquarters clients.

  • Onboard and develop your first two team members and take an active part in recruiting as the team grows with demand.
  • Build ways of working, quality standards, model templates and review processes.
  • Take an active part in day-to-day delivery by building, adapting and reviewing cost-effectiveness, cost-utility and budget impact models yourself.
  • Lead projects from scoping to delivery and make sure quality, timelines and budgets are met.
  • Work with Zealth on proposals, project scoping and new service offerings, including payer tools, tender and contracting insights, and pricing analyses.
  • Make AI the natural way of working in the team by selecting tools, building AI-assisted workflows and sharing what works across Ghintell and Zealth.
  • Collaborate with the Ghintell medical team on clinical inputs and with Ghintell Analytics on pricing research.
  • Keep the team current on health technology assessment (HTA) requirements and methods across key markets.

HOW YOU WILL WORK WITH AI

You will set the standard for how AI is used in health economics at Ghintell. That means using generative AI to draft model structures and code, extract inputs from literature and HTA guidance, check models and write documentation, while making sure every output is reviewed and owned by a health economist. You will choose the team’s tools and workflows, measure their effect on quality and speed, and share what you learn across Zealth and Ghintell. You bring practical experience of using AI in health economics and the drive to keep pushing it further.

HOW WE WORK

Our management style focuses on performance, execution, teamwork, candor and customer focus. We set clear expectations, give people real ownership, and value open and honest feedback in both directions.

We believe in combining the Scandinavian management philosophy with what works in India. From Scandinavia, we bring flat structures, trust, autonomy and direct communication.
