About the Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced SAS & Python Lead for our corporate client to lead predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAS programming and Python-based predictive modeling, along with proven technical leadership and project delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SAS programs using DATA steps, PROC procedures, SAS SQL, and macros.
• Build and implement predictive analytics and statistical models, including Linear Regression, using SAS.
• Develop, train, validate, and optimize machine learning models using Python.
• Apply statistical techniques, feature engineering, and model evaluation methodologies to solve business problems.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using SAS, Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Work with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Statsmodels for data analysis and modeling.
• Validate model performance, improve accuracy, and ensure analytical quality.
• Lead, mentor, and review the work of SAS developers, Python developers, and analytics professionals.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.
• Manage project deliverables, technical reviews, and analytics development best practices.Required Skills & Experience
• 12–18 years of overall experience in SAS development, predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and Python-based machine learning.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAS programming, including DATA steps, PROC procedures, SQL, and macros.
• Proven experience developing predictive models using Python.
• Strong understanding of Linear Regression, statistical modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Statsmodels.
• Experience with PySpark, data pipelines, data processing, and model development workflows.
• Strong knowledge of model validation, performance evaluation, and feature engineering.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing end-to-end project delivery.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Good to Have
• Experience with SAS Viya, SAS Enterprise Guide, or SAS Enterprise Miner.
• Experience in large-scale data processing and advanced predictive analytics solutions.Who Should Apply?
