New Product Development (NPD) Specialist

About the role

• A one line idea comes to you, like a trail mix or a natural Bournvita alternative. You find the manufacturers, improve the samples, shape the packaging, negotiate the price, and take the product to its first order.

What you'll own

• Take each product brief from the first idea to the first order.
• Find, shortlist, and negotiate with manufacturers, and push samples until they meet our quality bar.
• Research what exists in the market, what is missing, and what price works.
• Work with the with the design and tech team closely.
• Run several product projects at the same time.

• You have found vendors or manufacturers, got samples, and negotiated pricing yourself.
• You have taken a product from a brief to a first order or launch.
• You have experience in finding vendors or manufacturers, coordinated sample approval and negotiated pricing yourself
• You use AI tools in your daily work to research and compare options.
• Around 2yrs of experience in sourcing, procurement, or product development, in any category.
• Good to have: food, FMCG, or wellness product background.

Don't apply if..

• You want a strategy only role, speaking to vendors, sample approval, pricing or placing first orders.
• You want to manage vendors after launch (our head of operations does this) or work on farm sourcing.
