Company Description Superfan.ng is an edtech learning platform focused on African languages and cultural knowledge. The platform uses a gamified, quiz-first approach to engage learners with African proverbs, traditions, rites of passage, festivals, folklore, and customs. Designed for Africans and the global diaspora, Superfan.ng aims to make cultural learning accessible, interactive, and fun. Role Description The Freelance Project Manager will oversee end-to-end delivery of projects related to product features, content launches, and operational improvements for the Superfan.ng platform. This full-time remote role involves planning project timelines, coordinating cross-functional contributors, managing logistics, and ensuring milestones are delivered on schedule and within scope. Day-to-day tasks include tracking progress, identifying risks, organizing meetings, maintaining documentation, and communicating updates to stakeholders. The Project Manager will also collaborate with product, content, and technical teams to align objectives, refine processes, and support continuous improvement across projects.
Qualifications
- Experience with Project Management and Expediting, including planning, prioritization, and coordinating deliverables.
- Background in Logistics Management and Expeditor responsibilities, ensuring resources, information, and stakeholders are aligned and on time.
- Knowledge of Inspection and quality control processes to verify that project outputs meet agreed standards and requirements.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Jira, or similar) and basic documentation practices.
- Experience working with digital products, edtech, or culturally focused platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across diverse teams, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in project management, operations, or a related field.
