Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Laravel Developer role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Laravel Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel and related PHP frameworks, ensuring clean, secure, and scalable code. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, fixing bugs, integrating third-party APIs, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with front-end developers, designers, and product stakeholders. The role also involves participating in code reviews, writing unit tests, documenting technical solutions, and following best practices in software development and deployment. The developer will support ongoing improvement of development workflows and contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including Laravel, PHP, RESTful APIs, and database design (MySQL or similar).
• Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, including design principles, reusable code patterns, and clean architecture.
• Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, such as working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integrating front-end frameworks with Laravel.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including version control (Git), testing, debugging, and familiarity with agile or iterative workflows.
• Candidates should possess Programming skills with an understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
• Relevant experience with MVC frameworks, API security, and deployment on common hosting or cloud environments is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are required.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
