Role Description The Lead Software Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role involves architecting and implementing robust back-end systems, services, and APIs to support AI-driven and data-intensive applications. The Lead Software Engineer will oversee software design, code reviews, and performance optimization, while ensuring adherence to best practices and secure development standards. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring engineers, translating product requirements into technical solutions, and contributing to long-term technology roadmaps. The role also includes identifying opportunities for automation, improving development workflows, and participating in technical decision-making across projects.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building scalable production systems.
• Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and database integrations.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience leading engineering teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers.
• Exposure to AI/ML, IoT, or cloud-based architectures is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with modern development practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in New Delhi and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
