Product Manager
Product Manager, OXM
Location: India | Reports to: Head of OXM PBU | Experience: 5 to 11 years | Type: Full time
Summary
Anchanto is a leading global enterprise B2B SaaS provider delivering cloud-based solutions for brands, retailers, and logistics partners to streamline order, warehouse, inventory, marketplace, and omnichannel commerce management. The Operations Experience Management (OXM) system serves as a foundational product for 3PL, 4PL, 5PL, and distribution enterprises, enabling them to orchestrate orders across diverse channels and fulfillment centers while granting end-customers real-time operational visibility. This position is pivotal in shaping the OXM product trajectory, aligning technical execution with strategic business goals, market dynamics, and customer demands. The incumbent will assume full accountability for product definition, prioritization, and the delivery of high-quality releases, focusing on measurable outcomes rather than mere documentation. Operating under the strategic guidance of the Head of the OXM PBU, the role demands a leader who can steward the product with ownership, collaborate effectively within the leadership circle, and evolve established practices to meet the complexities of modern retail ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Definition: Formulate and drive the OXM roadmap by identifying capability gaps and prioritizing features based on customer needs, business objectives, and omnichannel retail challenges, balancing immediate delivery targets with long-term platform scalability.
- Product Specification & Execution: Author comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria, ensuring functional and non-functional requirements regarding performance, security, and reliability are clearly defined for engineering teams.
- Performance Measurement: Establish and track key success metrics, such as order processing rates and fulfillment SLAs, utilizing data analytics to identify performance gaps, prioritize improvements, and demonstrate the value of delivered features.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership, engineering, operations, sales, and commercial teams to align on priorities, manage expectations, and resolve trade-offs, while engaging directly with customers and partners to understand evolving operational workflows.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management: Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate user guides, API documentation, technical specifications, and self-help resources to empower internal teams and customers to utilize the product independently.
- Tooling & Governance: Manage product management ecosystems (e.g., Aha!, Jira, Confluence) to ensure transparency in planning, requirement traceability, and disciplined documentation practices.
- Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution: Lead customer User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts, facilitate defect triage, and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues and enhance overall release quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Support, Implementation, Marketing, and other Product Business Units (WMS, Integration, Parcel Tracking) to ensure seamless end-to-end consistency and successful product adoption.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: 5 to 11 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or domain-specific product roles, with a strong background in Order Management Systems (OMS), e-commerce, and 3PL/4PL/5PL logistics operations.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of 3PL, 4PL, and 5PL business models, including multi-client warehouse operations, multi-provider orchestration, and network-level data analytics.
- Omnichannel Knowledge: Proven track record in managing product capabilities for omnichannel retail, covering order capture, allocation, store fulfillment, inventory visibility, and returns across marketplaces, webstores, and physical locations.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong capability in writing detailed specifications, including PRDs and non-functional requirements, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering on API integrations, business logic, and validation rules.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Excellent analytical thinking with proficiency in data analysis tools, paired with superior verbal and written communication skills to articulate vision and influence cross-functional teams.
- Tool Mastery: Hands-on experience with industry-standard product management tools such as Aha!, Jira, and Confluence.
- Leadership Mindset: Ability to thrive in a lean team environment, demonstrating strategic thinking, ownership of execution, and a passion for product innovation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional experience in e-commerce technology, supply chain logistics, or B2B SaaS; familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), microservices architecture, and enterprise integration patterns; and relevant certifications in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
