Senior Python Full-Stack

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Python Full-Stack Developer with 7+ years of experience to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems. In this role, you will lead end-to-end development—from designing responsive UI components in React to architecting robust backend microservices using Python (Flask & Django), PostgreSQL, and REST APIs.

You will work closely with system architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to maintain high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS, automate backend workflows with Unix/Shell scripting, and establish rigorous automated testing and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Engineering: Architect and build production-ready backend microservices and APIs using Python (Flask & Django) while crafting modern, responsive frontend interfaces using React.
• API Design & Integration: Design, document, and secure scalable RESTful APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger specs, JWT authentication, and asynchronous task processing.
• Database Management: Design complex relational schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and manage database performance and migrations in PostgreSQL.
• Cloud & DevOps: Deploy, monitor, and maintain containerized applications on AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS); automate system-level operations and deployment routines via Unix environment management and Shell scripting.
• Workload & Automation: Build robust data processing pipelines and workflow orchestrations using tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect.
• Quality & Resiliency: Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing (PyTest, Cypress, Postman); drive code reviews, security standards, and performance profiling.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with core expertise in full-stack architecture.
• Backend Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with Python, specifically with modern web frameworks like Flask and Django.
• Frontend Proficiency: Solid experience developing scalable web applications using React (Hooks, Context API/Redux, state management, and modern JS/TS).
• Databases: Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL—including complex SQL queries, index optimization, and relational schema design.
• API Architecture: Deep expertise in building, securing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices integration patterns.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on commercial experience managing and deploying application components on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS).
• System & Scripting: Strong Unix/Linux system administration skills and fluent Shell scripting (Bash) for task automation and system configuration.
