Technical Project Manager

The Role
We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of our software projects from planning through to release. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and clients to turn requirements into well-defined plans, keep projects on track, and make sure what we ship is high quality. With a strong technical understanding, you’ll be comfortable discussing architecture with the engineering team and communicating progress clearly to clients and leadership.
What you’ll do
- Plan, manage, and deliver multiple software projects from kickoff to release
- Translate client and business requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories, and backlogs
- Run Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Track timelines, scope, budgets, risks, and dependencies, and keep stakeholders informed
- Coordinate across engineering, design, QA, and client teams to remove blockers
- Act as the main point of contact for clients during project delivery
- Manage releases and ensure smooth handover to clients
- Continuously improve delivery processes, documentation, and project tooling
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years of experience managing software development projects
- A technical background or strong technical understanding of web applications, APIs, and cloud platforms
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira / Asana / Linear
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including with senior and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Experience in client-facing delivery roles
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment with a high level of ownership
Nice to have
- Experience working on software projects for the automotive sector
- Previous experience in a startup or early-stage company
- Experience delivering B2B SaaS or enterprise software products
- Experience managing distributed teams across time zones (e.g. UK and India)
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and release management practices
- Experience with budgeting, resource planning, and vendor management
