Capability Lead - Network Security

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Capability Lead – Network Security based in India.

In this strategic leadership role, you will drive the development and evolution of technology services and solutions, ensuring they remain competitive, innovative, and aligned with market needs. You will shape service and product strategies, identify new business opportunities, and oversee the continuous improvement of existing offerings. Working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, you will translate market insights into impactful solutions. You will also guide product lifecycle management, from initial concept and feasibility assessment to launch, enhancement, and retirement. This position offers the opportunity to influence business direction, strengthen market positioning, and support organizational growth within a global technology environment. You will play a key role in enabling innovation, operational excellence, and long-term customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities

• Develop, own, and implement product and service strategies, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives and business unit priorities.
• Monitor market trends, conduct competitive research, and identify evolving customer needs to guide current and future offerings.
• Identify opportunities for new product and service development, as well as enhancements to existing solutions.
• Evaluate new concepts, assess their feasibility, and define product specifications and development requirements.
• Manage product lifecycle strategies and roadmaps, overseeing continuous evolution, feature enhancements, and product retirement where appropriate.
• Assess and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, strategic partners, and external alliances to support service delivery and innovation.
• Establish and maintain product pricing models, contributing to promotional strategies and effective sales and distribution approaches.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to conduct customer, competitor, and market analysis and strengthen product positioning.
• Gather, evaluate, and prioritize customer and stakeholder requirements to define product vision and development priorities.
• Develop and deliver product training, communications, and guidance to client-facing teams and relevant internal stakeholders.
• Support sales optimization and customer satisfaction by ensuring teams understand new and enhanced offerings.
• Contribute to organizational transformation and change initiatives while promoting innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in a senior product or service management position, preferably within a global technology services organization.
• Strong professional background in the technology industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing the implementation and launch of new products or product lines.
• Comprehensive knowledge of market segments, product portfolios, technology solutions, and product lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of product management methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Solid commercial awareness, financial understanding, and the ability to develop effective pricing and business strategies.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, critical analysis, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex challenges into practical solutions.
• Strong understanding of product functionality, technical capabilities, and the technologies supporting relevant service offerings.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and public-speaking skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different organizational levels.
• Proven people management, leadership, and coaching abilities, with experience supporting team development.
• Understanding of organizational transformation and change management programs.
• Relevant certifications, such as Scaled Agile or ITIL, are considered an advantage.
