Role Description The Owner role at Tickker is a full-time, on-site position based in Gorakhpur, responsible for overall business leadership and direction. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting product vision, prioritizing feature development, and overseeing the platform roadmap. The Owner will manage operations, coordinate with a small cross-functional team or external partners, and ensure effective customer support and user engagement. This role involves monitoring market trends, gathering user feedback, and making strategic decisions to grow Tickker’s presence among Indian traders. The Owner will also handle key partnerships, financial planning, and compliance with relevant regulations, ensuring sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of trading concepts, Indian financial markets, and options strategies to guide product and feature decisions.
• Experience in product management or digital platform development, including defining roadmaps and working with technical teams.
• Business management skills covering operations, budgeting, strategic planning, and basic financial oversight.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with users, partners, and stakeholders, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfort with data-driven decision-making, including analyzing user behavior, performance metrics, and market research.
• Prior experience in a fintech, trading, or SaaS environment is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience may substitute.
• Willingness to work on-site in Gorakhpur and take hands-on responsibility for day-to-day operations.
