Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end migration of Tableau dashboards, data sources, and calculations into Power BI, ensuring feature parity and performance optimization.
- Map Tableau calculated fields, parameters, and LOD expressions to DAX equivalents while preserving business logic and visual fidelity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to audit existing Tableau reports, prioritize migration scope, and define success KPIs post-migration.
- Design and build scalable Power BI data models using DirectQuery, Import, or Composite modes based on source system constraints.
- Implement row-level security (RLS), dynamic filtering, and governance standards aligned with enterprise compliance requirements.
- Document migration playbooks, troubleshooting guides, and training materials to enable client self-sufficiency.
