Job Title - Java Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong experience in developing scalable, high-performance, and secure enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, React, and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and GENAI.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining end-to-end applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  • Build responsive, user-friendly web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend services.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using Spring Security, OAuth2, or JWT.
  • Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and transactions using relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment automation, application monitoring, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

Backend Development

  • Strong proficiency in Java 8+,17 or later, including OOP, Collections, Streams, and concurrency fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
  • Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and ORM concepts.

Frontend Development

  • Strong experience with React, functional components, hooks, and state management.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience integrating React applications with REST APIs.
  • Understanding of responsive design and frontend performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript is preferred.

DevOps and Cloud-Native Technologies

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
  • Practical knowledge of Kubernetes for application deployment, scaling, and orchestration.
  • Experience with Git and source code management.
  • Understanding of build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.

Database and Testing

  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle
  • Familiarity with SQL engines such as Trino or presto is an advantage.
  • Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing practices.
  • Understanding of logging, monitoring, debugging, and application performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
  • Knowledge of API gateways, service discovery, and distributed tracing.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes deployment strategies, Helm, and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance optimization.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
