- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Node.js, Python, or Perl.
- Proven ability to lead complex, high-impact technical projects from concept and planning through delivery, maintenance, and retrospective analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to work through ambiguous requirements, evaluate trade-offs, propose innovative approaches, and execute solutions effectively.
- Experience designing reliable, performant, maintainable, and well-tested software systems.
- The ability to collaborate effectively across functions, involve stakeholders when needed, and communicate technical concepts and decisions to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
- A high degree of ownership, sound judgment, and initiative, with the ability to manage projects independently while contributing to shared team objectives.
- Interest in mentoring engineers, sharing expertise, and supporting the development of colleagues.
- Willingness to work remotely with an international team, participate in video meetings with cameras enabled, and travel approximately twice a year for company-wide gatherings and team retreats.
