- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Shopify / Shopify Plus development.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify theme development, Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Experience with custom/public Shopify app development, third-party integrations, webhooks, Metafields, Metaobjects, and Shopify CLI.
- Good understanding of Shopify Plus features, Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, and B2B implementations.
- Experience working on Shopify storefront development, performance optimisation, responsive implementation, and production support.
- Ability to work with designers, QA, project managers, and other engineering team members to deliver Shopify solutions.
- Additional pre-sales exposure/knowledge, including understanding client requirements, assessing technical feasibility, providing technical inputs, and supporting effort estimation.
- Good communication skills and the ability to participate in technical/client discussions as needed.
- Experience with Shopify migrations and third-party/ERP integrations would be an added advantage.
