Crossing Hurdles is hiring experienced Data Science and AI Engineering professionals for a remote freelance opportunity with a YC-backed AI research company.

You'll work on real-world assignments involving machine learning, predictive modelling, model evaluation, feature engineering, experimentation, and performance optimisation.

Engagement: Remote | Freelance

Professional Fee: ₹12,000 per approved task

Time Commitment: 15–20 hours per week

Experience Required: 3–5 years in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or a related field

What You'll Work On

Build, train, and evaluate machine learning models
Work with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
Perform feature engineering and model optimisation
Conduct experimentation and hyperparameter tuning
Evaluate models using relevant metrics and benchmarks
Document methodologies, assumptions, technical approaches, and results
Independently complete specialised technical tasks and produce high-quality deliverables

What We're Looking For

3–5 years of hands-on Data Science, ML, or AI experience
Strong experience in model development, training, evaluation, or deployment
Ability to clearly explain technical decisions and project contributions
Experience working independently on complex technical problems
Strong analytical and written communication skills
Comfortable working with deadlines, feedback, and revisions
Able to commit approximately 15–20 hours per week
