Automotive Android & Connectivity Software Engineer

About the RoleWe are looking for software engineers to develop automotive platforms in one of two focus areas: Android-based development (HAL, Framework, Services, Applications and GAS) or Connectivity technologies (Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi low layer). You will design, implement and integrate software on Automotive Android OS and AOSP, work with cross-functional teams and suppliers, and deliver quality, well-tested code.

Focus AreasYou should have strong experience in at least one of the following:

1. Android-Based Development

• Android HAL, Framework, Services and Application development
• Google Automotive Services (GAS) integration2. Connectivity Technology Software Development
• Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and the Bluetooth stack for automotive
• Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi layers (including low layer) and Wi-Fi regulationsKey Responsibilities
• Design, develop and integrate software in your focus area for automotive platforms.
• Develop and enhance Android HAL, services and framework components, or connectivity stack features.
• Apply sound software design principles and design patterns to build maintainable, scalable solutions.
• Write and maintain unit tests using Google Test and JUnit.
• Analyze, debug and resolve issues across the software stack.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Use Git and Gerrit for code management and review.Required Skills
• Work experience in C++, Java, Linux and Automotive Android OS, AUTOSAR and AOSP.
• Exposure to and experience with Android HAL, Android services and Android Framework.
• Software design and architecture: sound understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Unit test frameworks: Google Test and JUnit.
• Source control: Git / Gerrit.Focus-Area Skills (Any One)

• Wi-Fi: Experience in Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi layers and regulations.
