Senior Angular / Frontend Developer – Web & Mobile

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong, hands-on Angular expertise to build and evolve high-performance, scalable web applications for our SaaS platform. Angular is the primary focus of this role. We also want a frontend engineer who has grown beyond web-only development and can take ownership of, or grow into, cross-platform mobile application development for our new SaaS product. This is a hands-on role with strong ownership of frontend architecture, quality, performance and delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, responsive and accessible SaaS web applications using Angular 17+ and modern Angular capabilities such as standalone components, Signals, RxJS and reactive forms.
• Own frontend architecture for multi-tenant SaaS applications, including reusable components/shared libraries, role-based access, feature flags, theming/white-labelling and modular design.
• Implement state management using Signals, RxJS and/or NgRx; integrate REST APIs and handle client-side data transformation, authentication and secure token flows.
• Drive frontend performance through lazy loading, efficient change detection, code/bundle optimization and responsive, cross-browser/device design.
• Build dynamic/schema-driven forms, validation, autosave/draft persistence, and common UI patterns such as HTTP interceptors, error handling, loading states and notifications.
• Integrate third-party SDKs/components for reporting, charting, document editing, e-signature and embedded application experiences.
• Plan and execute Angular upgrades across major versions with dependency audits and minimal disruption; troubleshoot complex production and environment-specific issues.
• Contribute to mobile application development for iOS/Android using Flutter or another suitable cross-platform framework, with the expectation of growing into broader mobile ownership.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Backend and QA teams; participate in code reviews, technical design, estimation and delivery; mentor junior/mid-level developers where required.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of frontend development experience with strong recent hands-on Angular experience
• Advanced TypeScript and strong JavaScript fundamentals; excellent HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and responsive UI development skills.
• Strong knowledge of Angular internals, Signals, RxJS, reactive forms, routing, guards, dependency injection, interceptors and component architecture.
• Experience building and scaling SaaS applications, preferably multi-tenant; solid REST API integration and debugging skills.
• Experience with state management (Signals / RxJS / NgRx), performance optimization, reusable UI components and modern frontend architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to work across web, mobile and tablet experiences; strong interest or hands-on exposure to mobile application development.
• Strong Git, code review, testing and CI/CD practices; experience working in Agile teams using tools such as Jira.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Hands-on Flutter/Dart experience and exposure to mobile app release processes for Apple App Store / Google Play Store.
• Experience with push notifications, WebViews, deep links, secure device storage or native platform integrations.
• Micro Frontends, Nx/monorepos, React or other modern frontend frameworks; AWS/cloud exposure.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, with sound judgement when reviewing AI-generated code.
• Fintech/banking or other regulated-domain experience.
