Role Description The Okta Workflow Consultant will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, collaborating with clients and internal teams to design, implement, and optimize Okta workflows for IAM solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, configuring and testing Okta workflows, integrating applications and data sources, and troubleshooting workflow-related issues. The consultant will document solution designs, create reusable workflow templates, and ensure that implementations align with security and compliance best practices. The role also involves conducting training sessions, knowledge transfers, and workshops for clients and learners, as well as providing consulting support on IAM processes and enhancements. This position requires close coordination with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for understanding complex IAM requirements, identifying workflow improvements, and solving technical and process-related issues.
• Candidates should possess Consulting and Business Process skills to gather requirements, map current and future-state IAM processes, and advise stakeholders on best practices for Okta workflow implementation.
• Candidates should possess Training skills to deliver clear, structured instruction, create training materials, and support learners and clients in adopting Okta workflows and IAM methodologies.
• Candidates should possess SQL skills to query, analyze, and validate data used in workflows and integrations, and to support troubleshooting of data-related issues.
• Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include hands-on experience with Okta (especially Okta Workflows), familiarity with IAM concepts and standards, knowledge of API-based integrations, and a solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; strong communication and presentation skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams; and prior experience in IAM consulting or implementation projects.
