About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our growing quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation testing, .NET technologies, API testing, and test framework development. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using .NET technologies.
• Configure and manage Selenium Test Environments (STE) for automated test execution.
• Participate in automation framework architecture, design, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and execute automated UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
• Create, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using Selenium and industry-standard automation practices.
• Develop and execute API automation tests using REST Assured and related tools.
• Implement BDD-based testing approaches using Cucumber and related frameworks.
• Identify and prioritize automation candidates to maximize test coverage and efficiency.
• Develop automation test strategies, plans, and execution approaches aligned with project objectives.
• Create reusable automation components, utilities, and testing frameworks.
• Debug automation failures and perform root cause analysis for test and application issues.
• Manage defect lifecycle activities, including defect logging, tracking, validation, and closure.
• Execute regression testing and support release validation activities.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure product quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support CI/CD integration and automated test execution within deployment pipelines.
• Create and maintain quality metrics, test reports, and technical documentation.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 6-12 years of experience as a Software Developer, SDET, or Automation Test Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET, .NET Core, and C# development.
• Extensive experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on expertise in API testing and automation using REST Assured.
• Strong experience implementing BDD frameworks using Cucumber.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and SDLC practices.
• Experience working with JavaScript and modern web application technologies.
• Familiarity with Angular-based applications and frontend testing approaches.
• Knowledge of test data management, test environment management, and automation best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
• Understanding of performance, scalability, and non-functional testing approaches.
• Experience using source code management and version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of coding standards and participation in peer code review processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile and Scrum-based delivery environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
