Role Description The Dotnet Developer role at Square Yards is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services using .NET technologies, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, reusable code, implementing object-oriented design principles, and working with ASP.NET MVC and .NET Core frameworks. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, as well as troubleshooting issues, optimizing existing modules, and participating in code reviews. The developer will also contribute to continuous improvement by adopting best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with the ability to design modular and maintainable solutions.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development using .NET technologies, including .NET Core for building modern, scalable applications.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC for developing secure, responsive, and high-performing web applications.
• Knowledge of web technologies, RESTful APIs, and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) for end-to-end application development.
• Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to analyze requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver features within agreed timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
