The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale our software platforms. You’ll take ownership of features from concept to production, working across the frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure. As a senior member of the team, you’ll help shape our architecture, set engineering standards, and mentor other developers, while staying hands-on with the code every day.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack
- Develop clean, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces
- Build robust, secure APIs and backend services
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud infrastructure using modern DevOps practices
- Write well-tested, maintainable code and champion best practices through code reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and help raise the bar for the wider team
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of professional experience as a full stack or software engineer
- Strong frontend skills in React / TypeScript
- Solid backend experience with Node.js / Python / FastAPI or Django
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience designing and building RESTful or GraphQL APIs
- A good understanding of software architecture, security, and performance best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment with a high level of ownership
Nice to have
- Experience working on software for the automotive sector
- Previous experience in a startup or early-stage company
- Experience with performance optimisation and scaling high-traffic applications
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio
