Strategy & Operations Analyst – CXO Office
About the Role
We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Analyst – CXO Office to work closely with the CXO team on high-priority business initiatives across the organisation. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of strategy, business analytics, growth and execution. The role will involve solving complex business problems, identifying opportunities, developing data-backed recommendations and driving initiatives from problem definition to measurable business outcomes.
1. Business Strategy & Performance
- Analyse business performance across brands, markets, channels and functions to identify opportunities, risks and performance gaps.
- Develop structured analyses and recommendations to support CXO-level decision-making.
- Build business cases for strategic initiatives, investments, expansion opportunities and new business ideas.
- Track key business metrics and identify trends, exceptions and areas requiring intervention.
- Conduct market, competitor and customer analysis to support strategic decisions.
2. Growth & Commercial Initiatives
- Identify opportunities to drive revenue, orders, customer acquisition, retention, frequency and profitability.
- Analyse key growth metrics such as AOV, CAC, repeat rate, contribution margin, conversion and channel performance.
- Work with Marketing, Product, Operations and Business teams to identify and address growth bottlenecks.
- Develop hypotheses and evaluate growth initiatives through structured experiments and data.
- Assess the commercial impact of initiatives and recommend what should be scaled, modified or stopped.
3. Strategic & Special Projects
- Work directly with the CXO team on high-priority strategic projects that cut across functions.
- Own projects from problem definition → analysis → recommendation → execution → outcome measurement.
- Support initiatives such as new market/city expansion, brand launches, business transformation, cost optimisation and process redesign.
- Conduct rapid analysis on emerging business questions and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
- Take ownership of projects that may not naturally sit within a single function.
4. Operations & Process Improvement
- Identify operational bottlenecks impacting business performance and customer experience.
- Work with functional teams to simplify processes, improve productivity and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Analyse operational performance and develop improvement plans with measurable outcomes.
- Support implementation of new processes, systems and operating mechanisms.
- Build scalable processes and playbooks that can be replicated across brands and locations.
5. Cross-functional Execution
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product, HR and other functions to execute strategic priorities.
- Drive alignment between stakeholders, timelines and expected outcomes.
- Track critical initiatives and proactively highlight risks, dependencies and deviations.
- Ensure strategic recommendations translate into actual business outcomes.
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive initiatives to closure.
6. CXO Office
- Prepare business reviews, leadership presentations, decision notes and strategic analyses.
- Support the CXO team in evaluating business performance and prioritising critical interventions.
- Bring together data and inputs from multiple functions to create a clear view of business issues.
- Support leadership discussions with fact-based insights, scenarios and recommendations.
- Handle sensitive and high-priority business projects with a high degree of ownership and discretion.
What We Are Looking For
- 4–7 years of experience in strategy, business analytics, consulting, business operations, growth, category management or similar roles.
- Experience in food-tech, QSR, D2C, consumer businesses, startups or multi-brand businesses would be an advantage.
- Strong commercial understanding with the ability to interpret P&L, revenue, growth and unit economics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- High ownership, curiosity and bias for action.
- Ability to move seamlessly between strategy and hands-on execution.
