About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager at Motion Education, you will own the product lifecycle of our learning app, with a sharp focus on paid user engagement, retention, and conversion. You will lead strategy for a B2C product at scale, turning data and user insight into features that improve learning outcomes and drive revenue growth. We are looking for a sharp, analytical, detail-obsessed leader who is comfortable working with engagement and analytics tools and owning business metrics.

Key Responsiblities include

Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company and revenue goals.
  • Prioritise ruthlessly across competing initiatives using impact, effort, and data.
  • Identify market gaps and opportunities for new features, products, and improvements.Paid User Engagement and Retention
  • Own engagement and retention metrics for paid users, including DAU/MAU, session depth, course completion, and renewals.
  • Reduce churn by identifying drop-off points and the key drivers of user satisfaction and value.
  • Design lifecycle journeys (onboarding, activation, re-engagement, win-back) in partnership with the CRM and marketing teams.Conversion and Growth
  • Improve free-to-paid conversion through funnel optimisation, paywall and pricing experiments, trial experiences, and personalised offers.
  • Work with marketing and sales to align product experiences with acquisition and conversion goals.Analytics and Engagement Tools
  • Use engagement tools (CleverTap, WebEngage, MoEngage, Mixpanel) to segment users and run targeted campaigns.
  • Analyse behaviour in Google Analytics, Firebase, or Amplitude to find pain points, trends, and optimisation opportunities.
  • Build dashboards and own the metric framework (funnels, cohorts, retention curves, LTV) to drive decisions.Quality and Execution
  • Oversee the full lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring on-time delivery and product-market fit.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and iterate based on analytics and user feedback.Cross-functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, content, marketing, and sales to deliver the roadmap.
  • Bridge product requirements and technical execution, ensuring clear communication across teams.Market and Competitor Research
  • Track the EdTech landscape, competitors, emerging technologies, and shifting learner preferences.
  • Turn research into product opportunities and strategic recommendations.Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven record in B2C products.
  • Experience managing a product with 200K+ MAU.
  • Demonstrated impact on retention, paid user engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with engagement tools (CleverTap, WebEngage, MoEngage, Mixpanel, or similar).
  • Strong proficiency in analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Firebase, Amplitude) and comfort with data, including SQL or dashboarding tools.
  • Strong experience with A/B testing, user segmentation, cohort analysis, and funnel optimisation.
  • Ability to own and be accountable for business KPIs, not just feature delivery.
  • A detail-oriented, user-first mindset, backed by high analytical ability and structured problem solving.Preferred
  • Experience in EdTech/E-commerce or on educational products.
  • Experience with subscription, freemium, or paid-conversion models.
  • Knowledge of mobile app UI/UX best practices.
  • Familiarity with gamification, personalisation, and notification or lifecycle strategies.
