Role Description The Cyber Security Engineer will work on-site full time at Criclive.in’s Janakpuri location, ensuring the security and integrity of systems, applications, and networks that support the platform. In this role, the engineer will monitor security events, perform vulnerability assessments, and respond to potential incidents, minimizing risk and downtime. Daily responsibilities include designing and implementing security controls, reviewing configurations, performing regular security audits, and coordinating with development and infrastructure teams to embed security best practices in new and existing systems. The role also involves maintaining security documentation, staying current with emerging threats and technologies, and supporting compliance with relevant security standards and policies.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with experience designing and maintaining secure systems and processes.
- Hands-on expertise in Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure network architecture.
- Proficiency in Application Security, including secure coding practices, code review, and protection against common web and application threats.
- Experience with Vulnerability Assessment, including use of scanning tools, risk analysis, and remediation planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (such as ISO 27001, NIST, or OWASP) and incident response procedures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, OSCP) are an advantage.
