Job Summary

NCR VOYIX Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in software development using .NET, C#, Kubernetes, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of enterprise-grade applications while working in a collaborative Agile environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build expertise in modern cloud-native technologies and scalable software solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services.
Support the deployment and monitoring of applications running in Kubernetes environments.
Create, optimize, and maintain database objects, stored procedures, and queries in SQL Server.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
Collaborate with product managers, QA teams, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
Contribute to CI/CD processes and software delivery improvements.
Document technical designs, processes, and implementation details as required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
Experience working with SQL Server, including database development and query optimization.
Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design concepts.
Familiarity with REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred:

Experience with Go web frameworks (Gin, Echo, Fiber); Oracle performance tuning; Docker/Kubernetes; Azure or AWS; observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics); payment processing or financial transaction platform experience.
