Role Description The Data Manager at Beta will oversee the collection, organization, and maintenance of data across multiple software products and internal systems. This full-time, on-site role in Tiruvallur involves establishing data standards, monitoring data quality, and ensuring data integrity and security in alignment with organizational policies. The Data Manager will collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define data requirements, build efficient data pipelines, and support analytics and reporting needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing databases, documenting data processes, resolving data issues, and providing stakeholders with accurate, timely information to support decision-making. The role also involves continuous improvement of data management practices and adherence to relevant compliance and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in data management and governance, including data modeling, data quality control, and metadata management.
• Hands-on experience with databases and data tools, such as SQL-based systems, ETL tools, and data integration platforms.
• Ability to support analytics and reporting through data extraction, transformation, and preparation for business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy standards, and compliance frameworks relevant to software and enterprise environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced product environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications in data management are an advantage.
• Experience in a product-based or software company and familiarity with agile workflows are beneficial.
