Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer - React Native to design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. The candidate will work on production-grade mobile applications, build new features, integrate APIs, troubleshoot platform-specific issues, and contribute to the delivery of scalable, high-quality mobile solutions in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in software development with React Native.
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying mobile applications for iOS and/or Android.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience with React Native components, navigation, state management, and API integrations.
  • Good understanding of mobile application architecture and cross-platform development.
  • Experience debugging and resolving platform-specific issues between iOS and Android.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development practices.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Willingness to work in a Chennai hybrid work environment and support business-required shift timings.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of hands-on React Native development experience.
  • Experience building and supporting mobile applications on Android and/or iOS platforms.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs into mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux or Context API.
  • Knowledge of source control tools such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and deploying applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Experience with Expo, native modules, or mobile SDK integrations.
  • Knowledge of mobile performance optimization and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience using Android Studio and Xcode.
  • Exposure to App Store and Google Play Store release processes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile application deployment.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Understanding of device capabilities such as push notifications, biometrics, camera integration, GPS/location services, and offline storage.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience contributing to code reviews, testing, and release activities.
