Neewee is an enterprise software product company building Bodhee, a planning and scheduling platform used in complex manufacturing environments, particularly Pharma and Vaccines.

Bodhee is built using Python, Java, Angular, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes and cloud technologies. Python forms the core of our scheduling and optimization engine and integrates closely with the broader application platform.

Role & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly motivated Engineer I – Python Developer to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher or early-career engineer who has strong programming fundamentals and is excited to build real-world products in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to the development, enhancement, and deployment of our product and engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python-based applications and services.
Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
Work on algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving.
Understand business and technical requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
Debug issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve application performance.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and production deployments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced product development environment.
Learn and contribute to new technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices.Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Python.
Good understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms.
Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a startup environment.Preferred Skills
Internship or project experience in Python/software development.
Exposure to APIs, backend development, or web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Exposure to algorithms, optimization, or Operations Research.
Experience working on projects in a product/startup environment.
Familiarity with cloud platforms or deployment practices.What We Are Looking For
0–1 year of experience, including strong internship/project experience.
Candidates from IITs/NITs with strong academic and technical fundamentals.
Candidates who have demonstrated their programming skills through projects, internships, coding competitions, or open-source contributions.
A self-starter who is comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment.
Someone who enjoys solving complex problems and is eager to take ownership and learn.
